¿Cómo podemos mezclar nuestra pasión por el mundo del skate y la música? Estoy seguro que el colectivo español de músicos y diseñadores Lucio & the Music Komite se preguntaron esta pregunta antes de que crearan el asombroso projecto Sonora Boards. En él, han creado instrumentos midis artesanos usando objetos cotidianos.
Los productos se podrán ver hoy en Free Sports Skate Shop, Viladomat 319 (Barcelona).

How could mix our passion for skate and music? I’m sure that musicians & designers Spanish collective Lucio & the Music Komite asked themselves this question before they created the astonishing project Sonora boards. In it, they have created crafted midi instruments using daily objects.

Operae 2012

Operae es una exposición comercial dedicada al diseño artesanal la cual se celebrará en Torino los días 9-10 y 11 de noviembre. Actualmente está en proceso de recibir propuestas de aquellos diseñadores, estudios de diseño, agencias o artesanos en general que quieran exponer y participar con sus productos en esta tercera edición de la feria.

Operae is a trade exhibition dedicated to self-made design which is holding in Turin on November 9th-10th-11th. It’s calling for entries and invites designers, design studios, design companies and craftsmen to exhibit and participate with their own selfproductions at the third edition of the event.

El absolutamente impresionante vídeo The Story of Sushi me ha dejado es estado de shock esta mañana. Four Story Tree House, los cuales fueron contratados por Bamboo Sushi, son los creadores del vídeo y les tomó la friolera de siete meses el desarrollar todo el material artesanal.

The absolutely amazing video The Story of Sushi has really shocked me this morning. Four Story Tree House, who was commissioned by Bamboo Sushi, is the creator of the video and it took them about seven month for developing all of the handcrafted stuff.

Crossing Europe es un festival de cine que lleva celebrándose desde 2004 en Linz, Austria. Contratados por el festivla, Rafael Mayrhofer y Remo Rauscher han dirigido y animado esta precioso vídeo stop-motion artesanal como trailer del festival.
Aprovechamos y os posteamos el making of, para que podáis entender perfectamente todos estos trucos escondidos en él.

Crossing Europe is a film festival which has been celebrating since 2004 in Linz, Austria. Commissioned by the festival, Rafael Mayrhofer & Remo Rauscher have directed and animated this beautiful handmade stop-motion film as festival’s trailer.
We have posted their making of too, an relevant video for understanding the ‘removal tricks’ hidden inside it.

Este es uno de esos libros que nos encantaría (a los United Fakes) tener en casa. Tan sólo para inspirarnos! Todavía no lo hemos visto, pero estoy bastante seguro de que sería un bonito regalo para _Sergei! Un montón de artistas trabajando con el simple papel …. mmmmmm … es sexi!

We’ve been whistling this song for two weeks! Canadian band Walk off the earth has performed this beautiful cover from Malvina Reynolds‘ Little Boxes catchy song. Moerover, they have built a marvellous full cardboard environment.
