Este año está a punto de terminar (tal vez se acabe el mundo también!!), asà que decidimos cantar una canción, cortar y pegar papeles y pasar un buen rato animando una pelÃcula. También decidimos que era el mejor momento para hacer un homenaje a uno de nuestros maestros, uno de los mejores animadores de todos los tiempos, Fyodor Khitruk! Nos encantan las animaciones “planas y llenas de vida – con muchos detalles – y con un desenfrenado amor por la ilustración” que hacÃa! Por eso decidimos crear nuestra pieza “The place where gisfts are crafted” aka Gnomos Kontraten. Esperamos que os guste!
Los United Fakes os desean un “muy singular y muy muy especial 2013″!
The year is close to the end (maybe the world is ending too), so we decided to sing a song, cut some papers and have fun animating a movie. We also decided that it was the best moment to make a tribute to one of our masters, one of the best animators ever, Fyodor Khitruk! We love that “plain and vibrant – full of details – and always loving the illustration language” animation he made! So that’s why we decided to create our  movie “The place where gisfts are crafted” aka Gnomos Kontraten. We hope you enjoy it!

Señor Salme es un excelente ilustrador Malagueño, al que ya publicamos hace un año. Adora los buenos pinceles y el olor a tinta, a pesar de usar y controlar el Photoshop a tope. Su trabajo es una curiosa mezcla de ciencia ficción, cómics y la cultura pop, filtrado por su extraordinaria imaginación. Disfrutad, yo no puedo dejar de entrar en su web!!
Señor Salme is an excellent illustrator from Malaga, posted here one year ago. Good brushes and ink smell lover, despite he uses photoshop as a master. His work is the result of a mixture between science fiction, comic books and pop culture, filtered by his extraordinary imagination. Enjoy, I can’t stop reviewing his work!!

Hace ya bastante tiempo que publicamos el trabajo de Deepu Sasi Kumar, un diseñador residente en Bangalore (India), director de arte interactivo y artista visual, que actualmente trabajanda en el estudio 22feet. Su portafolio ha seguido creciendo desde la última vez que lo visitamos, y sigue siendo un sitio genial para inspirarse y aprender! Disfrutad!
A long time ago we posted the work of Deepu Sasi Kumar, a Bangalore (India) based designer, interactive art director and visual artist, and currently working at 22feet. Ediciones Valientes is a Valencia based independent label dedicated to the less commercial side of the graphic world. Since 2007 they have been publishing different but sooo interesting publications about illustration and comic, putting particular attention to bizarre and peripheral aesthetics from several parts of the globe.
They have released a new issue of El Temerario, it’s eight number, where there have collaborated illustrators such as Fernando del Toro, Marta Pina, Gianna Salamanca, Martes Bathori, Arrate Aliz Itxion, Celine Guichard, MartÃn López Lam, Carla Besora, Carol Jimenez, Thomas Raimondi and Cristina LLanos.
