Ian McQue es un “concept artist” (no se si hay traducción para esto …). Su trabajo es desarrollar paisajes y personajes usando técnicas tradicionales y digitales para proyectos como el GTS, Bully, Manhut y muchos otros … si, es uno de esos afortunados que trabaja en nuestro trabajo ideal, la industria de los videojuegos. Creo que, si eres ilustrador o diseñador de personajes, te encantará el trabajo de Ian!

His work is about developing environment and characters using traditional and digital techniques, for GTA, Bully, Manhut and many others … yes, he is one of those lucky people working in our dreamed place, the game industry. ¿Recordáis el caso del caso de Benjaman Kyle? Benjaman Kyle es un hombre que fue descubierto inconsciente en Estados Unidos detrás de un restaurante de comida rápida en 2004. Debido a que no tenÃa ni idea de quién era, debido a un problema de amnesia dissociativa, hubo una gran cobertura de diversas organizaciones que se embarcaron en la búsqueda de su identidad verdadera (incluso hubo un corto sobre el tema).
Después de ver el corto Finding Benjaman en el Tribeca Film Festival, el artista norteamericano Miguel Endara se animó a ayudar en la manera que él pudo. Por eso, decidió crear este acojonante retrato sobre Benjaman Kyle mediante el punteado, una técnica muy tediosa que mezcló un bolÃgrafo, dosis de paciencia y una mareante cifra de puntitos.
Algunas notas: el retrato le llevó a Miguel la friolera de 138 horas y él calcula que la pieza contiene alrededor de 2.1 millones de puntos. O_O!!!
Did you remember Benjaman Kyle‘s case? Benjaman Kyle is a man who was discovered unconsciously behind a fast food restaurant in USA in 2004. As he had absolutely no idea who he was, due to a dissociative amnesia ill, there was a high media coverage from some organisations which embarked on a search of his true identity.
After watching the Finding Benjaman shortfilm at the Tribeca Film Festival, the Miami based artist Miguel Endara was inspired to help in any way he could. So, he decided to create this amazing portrait of Benjaman Kyle through stippling, a tedious technique which mixes pen, patience, and an outstanding amount of individual dots.
Some notes: the artwork took him around 138 hours and he estimates the piece contains roughly 2.1 million points. O_O!!!

In each issue is focused on one artist whom they admire and respect, in order to show us all the primary ingredients which have been mixed to perform the style or philosophy of the artist. Talks about a movie, a book, song, clothes, influencer character or place are printed based on style and colour’s artist preferences.

Ulf Puder es un artista nacido en Leipzig en 1958, donde actualmente vive y trabaja. Su obra es la representación de un mundo desolado, con la única presencia de elementos arquitecttonicos, caravanas, iglesias y coches, y una muy personal paleta de colores que, a mi entender, marca la diferencia. Espero que os guste!
