IDAT Barcelona, Instituto de Arte, Diseño y Tecnología, se complace en anunciar el Primer Concurso de Diseño de la Interacción, con el tema Construyendo el Internet de las Cosas.
El objetivo del concurso es promover el debate y la investigación a través del cual generar visiones, ideas y propuestas que ayuden a prever cómo los productos y sistemas en red irán conformando la próxima generación del Internet de las Cosas en el siglo XXI.
El concurso está abierto a diseñadores, arquitectos, artistas y pensadores que quieran contribuir al progreso para hacer el mundo más habitable, desarrollando una propuesta capaz de responder a los nuevos desafíos en áreas como la tecnología de la información, la socialización, la ecología, la fabricación, la colaboración y la globalización, con la mirada puesta en explorar un futuro potencial de conectividad expandida.
El plazo de presentación de propuestas es hasta el 15 de diciembre de 2010 y el premio está valorado en 16.000€.
IDAT Barcelona, Institute of Art, Design and Technology, is pleased to announce the 1st Interaction Design Contest, on the theme Building the Internet of Things.
The aim of the competition is to promote discussion and research through which to generate insights and visions, ideas and proposals that help us envisage what networked products and systems will be like in the 21st century, conforming the next generation Internet of Things.
The competition is open to designers, architects, artists, tinkerers and thinkers who want to contribute to progress in making the world more habitable by developing a proposal capable of responding to emerging challenges in areas such as information technology, socialization, ecology, fabrication, collaboration and globalization, with a view to exploring a potential future of expanded connectivity.
The competition will be opened until December 15th and the prize is valued in 16.000 €.
El equipo de MINI Space lanza un nuevo concurso en su portal: Quieren conocer vuestra interpretación óptica del sonido. Para participar, debéis visualizar una canción a través de un dibujo, fotografía o cualquier pieza artística. Para los ganadores, hay un MacBook Pro, un iPad y muchos más regalos. Tenéis de plazo hasta el 4 de octubre para participar.
MINI Space team launches a new competition: They want know about your optic interpretation of the sound. To participate, you must visualise a song through a draw, photography or any kind of graphic artwork. There are one MacBook Pro, one iPad and more prices for the winners. The deadline will finish October 4th.

What a huge pleasure is to share with you our giant friend Jaime Razkin’s contribution to the notodofilmfest. This wonderful piece (which we already posted) was found fresh and clean at vimeo and got the chance to post it again here in case someone missed the opportunity to check it out. La empresa de hosting CDmon siempre ha estado ligado al tema cultural. Desde hace mucho tiempo, están unidos a Promsite para realizar hostings sponsors de gente relacionada con el diseño, ilustración o fotografía. Yo lo sé, llevo mucho tiempo gozando de él.
Ahora, CDesign es el concurso de diseño donde dan la oportunidad a nuevos talentos de presentar su arte y darse a conocer en forma de camiseta. Desde el 15 de Marzo y hasta el 25 de Abril, en wewantyourtshirt podrás enviar tu propuesta de camiseta.
El jurado está formado por Alex Trochut, Arte&Diseño, Criterion, IED, Neo2, SerialCut, Xnographics y el equipo de CDmon; y se encargará de seleccionar los tres diseños ganadores con los que se realizará una edición limitada de 6.000 camisetas.
Hosting enterprise CDmon always have been joined to cultural tasks. Since many years, they’ve been joined to Promsite to sponsorize hostings to designers, illustrators o photographers. I know that, I’m enjoying of that for many years.
Now, CDesign is the design contest where they give the chance to new talents to present his art in t-shirt way. From March 15th since April 25th, in wewantyourtshirt you could send your t-shirt.
The judge will be Alex Trochut, Arte&Diseño, Criterion, IED, Neo2, SerialCut, Xnographics and CDmon’s staff; and they’ll select three winners of 6.000 t-shirt limited edition.
