La gente de Burn va a hacer una peli con gente que piensa de forma distinta (la mayoría skaters, riders, graffiteros … y peña del street art).
La peli que os posteo es nuestra (de los UnitedFakes y los 40Fakes) contribución al concurso para entrar en la peli, para dar a conocer como trabajamos, lo que hacemos … y cómo nos sentimos al hacerlo. Nosotros somos contadores de historias, “hacedores” de películas, y hacemos este tipo de cosas mientras hacemos otros proyectos, lo hacemos siempre! Nos encanta nuestro trabajo y también nos encanta enseñarlo. En esta peli hicimos un tributo a Stanley Kubrick al acabar un trabajo de tres días. Esperamos que os guste! Lo hicimos para vosotros!
Burn crew is going to make a film with people who thinks and works in a different way (most of them skaters,riders, … street art people).
The movie I’m posting here is our (the UnitedFakes and the 40Fakes) contribution to the contest, to get into the movie, to let the people know how we work, what we do … and how we feel when we do it. So we are story tellers, movie makers, and we do that kind of stuff while we are doing other shootings, always! we enjoy our work a lot and we love to share it. In that movie we made a tribute to Stanley Kubrick after working for three days in a project. Hope you like it! We made it for you!

He estado un par de veces en Milan, y esta podría ser una buena oportunidad ara ir una tercera. La gente de Picame organiza una fiesta llamada “Picame Party – Meet your favorite artist” para conocer algunos buenos artistas en la fiesta, con entrada libre! Hey chicos de Picame, hay alguna posibilidad de conseguir un vuelo gratis? Seria genial!
I have been in Milano twice, and this could be a good chance for my third time. The Picame crew is organizing a party called “Picame Party – Meet your favorite artist” to meet some artists in party time with free entrance! Hola amigos, este es nuestro último trabajo para Bershka, lo llamamos Bskbox, y el equipo de la empresa lo llamó Making Music. No importa, este es nuestro trabajo más reciente, y fue genial hacerlo. Hannah, River y Claudia (los modelos) estuvieron jugando con los instrumentos para nosotros. D2mau se encargó de construir y diseñar el sonido, y nosotros (os United Fakes) hicimos el resto (no demasiado, por supuesto). Estamos orgullosos de convertir este pequeño shooting en una canción y, finalmente, contar una historia. Esperamos que os guste, lo hicimos por vosotros!
Hi fellows, this is our last work for Bershka, we called it Bskbox, and the company crew called it Make Music. Dosen’t matter, that’s our most recent work, and it was so nice to do. Hannah, River and Claudia (the models) were playing some instruments for us. D2mau was in the set to build up the sound design, and we (the United Fakes) made the rest (not too much, of course). We are proud of taking that little piece of shooting into a song, and finally tell a story. Hope you like it, we made it for you!
Era 29 de Diciembre cuando decidimos empezar este pequeño blog llamado 40Fakes, hace cinco años. Hoy es nuestro aniversario y estamos muy contentos de compartirlo con todos vosotros! Muchos posts, nuevos amigos, comentarios, tweets, re-tweets, ultra-tweets y un montón de seguidores en el Facebook son el resultado de esa decisión … Que significa? No tengo ni idea, pero me gusta!
Las cosas han cambiado mucho desde que empezamos con este proyecto. Ahora nos conocen como los United Fakes, vivimos en Barcelona, tengo dos gatos nuevos (y mi novia aún me quiere, soy un tío con suerte!). Hemos pasado una crisis bestial, pero la hemos sorteado, perdimos un montón de clientes pero conseguimos otros nuevos y muy buenos. (Algunos cambios merecen la pena!)
Sólo quería dar las gracias a todos los que nos apoyan a diario, a todos los patrocinadores, a los amigos que están repartidos por todo el mundo, a todos los que nos envían noticias y, por supuesto, a todo el equipo incluyendo a nuestras madres, padres, gatos y novias!
Dicho esto, todo el amor de parte de los 40Fakes!

It was 29th of December when we decided to start that little blog called 40fakes, five years ago. Today is our birthday and we are happy to share it with all of you! Lots of posts, new friends, comments, tweets, re-tweets, ultra-tweets and lots of Facebook followers are the result of that decision … What does it mean? I don’t really know, but I like it!
Things have been changing a lot since we started that project. We are known now as the United Fakes, we all live in Barcelona, I have two new cats (and my girlfriend still loves me, I’m a lucky guy!). We’ve been in a very big economic crisis but we managed it, we’ve lost lots of clients but we have some new and good ones now … many changes and a long range of good news. (Some changes are worthy!)
I just wanted to thank all the people who is supporting us daily, all the sponsors, all the friends from around the world, all the people sending news and, of course, all the team including our mums, dads, cats and girlfriends!
Said that, love from the 40Fakes!

Ayer recivimos dos regalitos. El primero ya lo contamos antes, nuestro propio Jaboogie. El segundo es el último número de nuestros amigos de Devora Ran, Outdoor Sex, acompañada de una pegatina muy porn con el mensaje: “Si follas conmigo, me acabarás queriendo”. ¿Es cierto?
Yesterday we received two presents. The first one we just told before, our own Jaboogie. The second one is the latest issue of our friends of Devora Ran, Outdoor Sex, and a nice sex sticker with the quotes: “If you fuck with me, you’ll end up loving me”. Really??
Ayer nos visitó, después un problema de logística, el estudio barcelonés Black Milk Studio y nos regalaron su último proyecto: Jaboogie. Jaboogie es un divertido proyecto artesanal representado por una pata de jamón vacuno.

Yesterday, after any logistic problems, come to visit us the Barcelona based studio Black Milk Studio and they gave as a gift their latest projects: Jaboogie. Jaboogie is a nice handmade project represented by a cow whole ham.

Nomeno saca pieza, un videoclip para Wyz, amigos todos de la casa. La pieza ha sido rodada enteramente en 35mm y producida en tres países: Islandia, España y Venezuela. Grandiosos todos.
