En Portugal, la población urbana va creciendo exponencialmente año tras año, con motivo de la tendencia mundial de la desertización del espacio rural.
Por ese motivo, Cabracega Experience Design Studio y André Gonçalves han desarrollado USMA, un reloj sin ningún tipo de display, sonando solamente para marcar el paso del tiempo a través de su timbre de iglesia.
Puede que esto choque bastante con nosotros actualmente, pero creo que es una buena oportunidad para llevar a casa una experiencia rural con el objetivo de marcarnos un nuevo ritmo de vida.

So, Cabracega Experience Design Studio and André Gonçalves have developed USMA, a clock without a visual interface, resorting only to sound to mark the passage of time though its church bell.
Maybe it shocks us actually, but I think it’s a great chance to bring home the rural experience with the definite goal of giving a new rhythm to city life.
El pasado año os hablamos sobre Vamos, esto va de ilustración, un proyecto artístico joven y urbano con el objetivo de luchar por un mejor reconocimiento del dibujo, del collage y del street art. La próxima semana, el 9 de febrero, van a abrir una nueva exhibición en la Galeria Tipos Infames de Madrid mostrando los grandestrabajos de los artistas Rowan Newton, Rafafans and Mr. Trazo.

Last year, we talked about Vamos, esto va de ilustración, a young and urban artistic collective project with the aim to fight for a better recognition of draw, the collage and the street art. Next week, February 9th, they’re going to open a new exhibition at Galeria Tipos Infames in Madrid showing the great artworks from Rowan Newton, Rafafans and Mr. Trazo.

Wow. ¡El trabajo del diseñador e ilustrador de Seattle Chase Kunz es impresionante! Sus preciosas ilustraciones están a medio camino entre la ilustración y el collage, con una gran presencia de auto-representaciones de clásicos de la ciencia ficción o de los videojuegos.
Wow. Seattle based designer and illustrator Chase Kunz‘s portfolio is awesome! His beautiful artworks is halfway between illustration and collage, with a lot of self-representation of sci-fi or video games’s classics.
Cómo sabréis, el pasado noviembre rodamos The Chase para Bershka. Una de las prendas de la colección nos llamó especialmente la atención, parecía hecha para nosotros! As you may know by now, last November we have made a video piece called The Chase for fashion brand Bershka. A t-shirt form that collection was very special. It looked as if it was made specially for us and designed in our name…. So we asked the Bershka people to give us all the remaining T-shirts for 40Fakes and we are going to give those away in a contest.
