Conozco y admiro al sr. Mallafré desde tiempos muy remotos. Hace un tiempo tuvimos la fortuna de trabajar juntos en este proyecto y ahora, al ver su último proyecto de identidad, acabo de sufrir un flashback del tipo Anton Ego en Ratatouille. Comparto con vosotros este exquisito documento de cómo y porqué desarrollar una identidad personal y os invito a ver más de su trabajo aquí.
I know and admire mr. Mallafré from a long time now. Some months ago we had the lucky chance to work together in this project, and now, seeing his latest identity work, just got a flashback as mr. Anton Ego in Ratatouille. Allow me to share with you this great document on how and why should someone develope a personal graphic identity. Check more of his work here.
“Hikikomori (ひきこもり o 引き篭り? literalmente “apartarse, estar recluido”, i.e., “aislamiento social agudo”) es un término japonés para referirse al fenómeno de gente apartada que ha escogido abandonar la vida social; a menudo buscando grados extremos de aislamiento y confinamiento, debido a varios factores personales y sociales en sus vidas.” Wikipedia dixit.
Nomeno vuelve a regalarnos una de sus piezas… una que son muchas o una sola, aún no terminamos de comprender… pero “no terminar de comprender” es la definición de “nomeno” y por eso estamos enamorados de todo lo que hace.

Hikikomori (ひきこもり or 引き籠もり Hikikomori?, literally “pulling inward, being confined”, i.e., “acute social withdrawal”) is a Japanese term to refer to the phenomenon of reclusive adolescents or young adults who have chosen to withdraw from social life, often seeking extreme degrees of isolation and confinement because of various personal and social factors in their lives. The term hikikomori refers to both the sociological phenomenon in general as well as to people belonging to this societal group.
Nomeno gave us one of his presents… one that is many but many as one, we still don’t quite understand… but “not quite understand” is the meaning of “nomeno” that is why we are in love with everything he does.

Tuve el placer de ver distintas partes del proceso de este proyecto que realizaron Lore&Jun en el Smile For London. Estos chicos hacen que la mente “ruede” mejor, We love.
Smile For London es un proyecto que organiza exposiciones audiovisuales en el metro de Londres. La iniciativa busca inspirar y emocionar por un instante a la audiencia en tránsito del metro de Londres a través de sus pantallas. Para este año, crearon Word In Motion, que fue una convocatoria abierta a escritores establecidos (Jarvis Cocker, Ray Davies, Cerys Matthews, Courttia Newland, etc) y amateurs a que enviaran una poesía de 40 caracteres que luego serían seleccionadas por estudios de motion (Studio AKA, Why Nos Associates, Hexstatic) para ser interpretadas en piezas de 20 segundos.
I had the pleasure to watch Lore&Jun working on this movie for Smile For London. This kids make your mind flow nicer. We love.
Word In Motion unites some of London’s finest poets, writers and lyricists with leading artists in a collaborative project to be screened on the London Underground.
Each written piece is being brought to life by motion artists with 20-second-typographic-films. All the artists have picked their chosen piece blind with no knowledge of which writers’ work they are animating.

Chuleta es un hermoso proyecto de nuestras inestimables Domi y Lore fruto de un amor incondicional (y a título personal creo que no siempre correspondido en la misma medida pero ellas opinarán lo contrario) hacia sus perros (entendidos como animales de compañía, creo que ellas tampoco opinarán que son sólo animales de compañía). Sí estaremos de acuerdo que el resultado es amor en mayúsculas y yo yá me he apuntado. Gracias mil!
Chuleta is a beautiful project from our beloved Domi and Lore resulting from an inconditional love (personaly I think not always returned as it should but I’m sure Domi and Lore don’t think the same) towards their dogs. But what we all agree is that this is love in uppercase. Ok, this english translation stinks, all my fault google translator had nothing to do with it 
Navidades de madera nos proponen Tomás y nuestra amiguísima Domi en su proyecto wooood. Yo en mi linea monotema estoy enamorado de la cabeza de ciervo, pero entiendo que un árbol de navidad (ecofriendly) lucirá maravilloso con unos cuantos “charlieparkers”, “cosmos” y “cosmics” a elegir!, gracias chicos, por fin algo que guardar con gusto de un año a otro. Madera y multiplicar!
“Woody xmas” is the what Tomas and our dearest friend Domi suggest us in their latest project wooood. Me myself I’m in love with this deer head, but I understand a xmas tree would love some of these “charlieparkers”, “cosmos” and “cosmics” among others. Thanks guys, at last I found something to keep safe from one year to year. This is something worth keeping through the years. Wood and multiply!

Tenemos el último curro del senyor Cimadevilla (AKA nomeno). Sigo marivillándome del el sabroso culto al absurdo que transpiran sus piezas. Hemos trabajado otras veces con él y podemos dar fé de la magia que ocurre al compartir vida con este hombre.

We’ve got the latest work from Mr. Cimadevilla (AKA nomeno). I’m still marvelled of his tasty absurd cult his works transpire. We have worked with him on other projects and we know that magic happens when you share some of your life with this man.
