Burn your mind ı The movie

Burn lanza un nuevo proyecto, una peli con toda esa gente que patina, pinta o crea sus movidas en la calle. La gente de Burn esta buscando a esa gente con talento y para ello han lanzado una campaña para encontrarlos. Aquí va un pequeño spot que hicieron para la ocasión, echadle un ojo y pensad sobre ello. Nosotros seguro que vamos a presentar un video para entrar en la peli de Burn your mind … cruzaremos los dedos! _Sergei esta deseando salir en una pantalla de cine! (aja! y yo!).

Ta campaña es una de esas grandes, con Facebook para seguir, twitter para hablar del tema, un canal de youtube para compartir movidas, e incluso un tuenti .. nosotros no tenemos, porque? _Sergei, toma nota sobre el tema!

Estad atentos, muy pronto habrá más noticias sobre el tema. Por el momento, a seguir currando!

Burn is starting a new project, a movie with all that talented people who is skating, painting and creating their stuff on the streets. The Burn crew is looking right now for that talented people and for that they have launched a campaign to find them (you?). Here goes a short spot about that, take a look and think about it. We are sure we will send our video to get into the Burn your mind movie … let’s cross our finger to get it! _Sergei goes crazy to be in the cinema screen! (haha! me too!).

The campaign is one of those big ones, with Facebook to follow, twitter to talk about it, a youtube channel to share stuff and also a tuenti … we don’t have a tuenti account, why?? _Sergei take note about that!

Graffiskate

El colectivo barcelonés Graffiskate nace como consecuencia de las últimas ordenanzas municipales de Barcelona que prohiben el uso del skate en las vías públicas y la creación de graffiti en espacios urbanos sin permiso. Este colectivo busca juntar a los artistas más representativos de la escena de Barcelona para decorar tablas de skate y mezclar así estas dos tendencias urbanas.
Además, esta tarde abrirán una expo en Lab27 (Sant Rafael 27, Barcelona) mostrandonos los primeros resultados.

Barcelona based collective Graffiskate born as consequence of latest Barcelona’s municipal regulations which forbid the use of skate on public highways and the creation of graffiti on urban spaces without permission. So, this collective joins Barcelona’s scene most representative artists to decorate skate decks and mix these two urban tendencies.
Also, they are going to open this afternoon an exhibition at Lab27 (Sant Rafael 27, Barcelona) showing the first results.

5 years ı 5.000 Posts

Era 29 de Diciembre cuando decidimos empezar este pequeño blog llamado 40Fakes, hace cinco años. Hoy es nuestro aniversario y estamos muy contentos de compartirlo con todos vosotros! Muchos posts, nuevos amigos, comentarios, tweets, re-tweets, ultra-tweets y un montón de seguidores en el Facebook son el resultado de esa decisión … Que significa? No tengo ni idea, pero me gusta!

Las cosas han cambiado mucho desde que empezamos con este proyecto. Ahora nos conocen como los United Fakes, vivimos en Barcelona, tengo dos gatos nuevos (y mi novia aún me quiere, soy un tío con suerte!). Hemos pasado una crisis bestial, pero la hemos sorteado, perdimos un montón de clientes pero conseguimos otros nuevos y muy buenos. (Algunos cambios merecen la pena!)

Sólo quería dar las gracias a todos los que nos apoyan a diario, a todos los patrocinadores, a los amigos que están repartidos por todo el mundo, a todos los que nos envían noticias y, por supuesto, a todo el equipo incluyendo a nuestras madres, padres, gatos y novias!

Dicho esto, todo el amor de parte de los 40Fakes!

It was 29th of December when we decided to start that little blog called 40fakes, five years ago. Today is our birthday and we are happy to share it with all of you! Lots of posts, new friends, comments, tweets, re-tweets, ultra-tweets and lots of Facebook followers are the result of that decision … What does it mean? I don’t really know, but I like it!

Things have been changing a lot since we started that project. We are known now as the United Fakes, we all live in Barcelona, I have two new cats (and my girlfriend still loves me, I’m a lucky guy!). We’ve been in a very big economic crisis but we managed it, we’ve lost lots of clients but we have some new and good ones now … many changes and a long range of good news. (Some changes are worthy!)

I just wanted to thank all the people who is supporting us daily, all the sponsors, all the friends from around the world, all the people sending news and, of course, all the team including our mums, dads, cats and girlfriends!

Said that, love from the 40Fakes!
